If you ever get the chance to go to The Emirates Stadium, make sure you do it! the stadium is very grande and the Rolls Royce of football stadiums around the country. Take a camera as well as it is mightly impressive both inside and out. I have been as a neutral fan twice now and both times have been gob smacked.
We sat in the top tier both times and the view is superb although it does feel like you are up in the clouds but it gives you a good idea of how the game is panning out as you can see where the space is on the pitch and watch player runs and moves with ease.
Outside the stadium just seemed to be full of people taking pictures, lots of tourists and to be honest it didn't really feel like we were going to a football match. Everything is clean and tidy though and it's obvious that the grounds are kept in tip top condition.
After having climbed 7 or 8 flights of stairs to get to the top tier you come across the most spacious concourse you'll ever see. As the stadium has glass walls you can look out over London and down below to all the people queuing to get in. There are TV's situated all over the place and again everything is very clean and tidy. You do need to remortgage your house to buy a round of beers so get your rounds in before you get in the stadium. The first time I went along all the bars had sold out of food quite quickly so if you are hungry it might be worth picking up something outside the ground, just in case.
As with Highbury, the atmosphere is very flat, occasionally a chant of "Arsenal Arsenal Arsenal" went round but that was about it. Whether it will get any better once all the singers get together I don't know but if Highbury is anything to go by it will stay very quiet. It seemed it was more like a tourist attraction than a Football stadium and there were loads of families about.
Stick around and have a drink after the game, especially in the winter months as it is quite impressive watching the surrounding area lit up with street lights and the 60,000 fans leaving. If you leave straight away be prepared for a bit of a wait whilst the police control the congestion flooding towards the tube stations.

Travel Information to Emirates Stadium
Directions by Car
Exit at junction 2 on the M1 and following signs to the City. Stay on the A1 for approximately 6-7 miles until you see Holloway Tube Station on the right hand side. At the lights after the tube station take a left into Hornsey Road, Emirates Stadium is about 1/4 of a mile down the road.
Make the most of the pubs! If you go to Highbury & Islington tube station you can make the most of the pubs along Holloway Road, there are quite a few along there and most of them seemed to be fairly relaxed with a mixture of fans in. Turn left out of the tube station and just walk straight, pubs are on the left and the right. The stadium can be found by walking up "Drayton Park" on the right hand side of 'Holloway Road' and then turning left into 'Benwell Road', you really can't miss the stadium.

Why close the station? Drayton Park is the nearest British Rail station to the ground. Helpfully it is closed after evening games and on weekends

As Holloway Road tube station is usually closed on match days the nearest station is Arsenal, this is only a few minutes walk from the ground.
