Decent enough ground - the National Football Museum being the highlight and ensuring you can really make a day of the trip up to Preston.
The concourse has ample kiosks/toilets and they serve proper cider in there which was a fantastic bonus! (although that may have been shipped in for us - Bristol City)
The home fans weren't the most vocal so it really gives the away crowd the chance to make the atmosphere theirs. The away section is half a stand behind one of the goals so it is pretty conducive to making some decent noise. I personally dont like being behind the goal but it was a decent enough view.
The town centre bars are only a 15min walk to the ground - which is set in the 'rough and ready' Deepdale area of Preston - we didn't fancy any Deepdale pubs so went to the town centre instead. The Yates's and Wetherspoons seemed to attract away fans with no trouble and a light police presence throughout the City centre.
Train Station is walkable from the ground (15/20mins).

At the mini roundabout after 1 mile, by the Hesketh Arms, take the second exit (signposted Ring Road, Blackpool A583 & Football Ground) onto the Blackpool Road A5085. Carry straight on for 1.2 miles, then filter left before the lights (signposted Town Centre, Football Ground) into Sir Tom Finney Way. The ground is on the left hand side.
Moor Park High School and deepdale Primary School offer the best option for away fans parking as there is no parking at the ground for away fans, they will set you back £5 per car. There is also a car park across from the Tom Finner Stand on Moor Park.
All buses from the train station go to the bus station. From there, numbers 5, 6 and 19 run a long Deepdale Road. The bus will cost you approximately 80p but make sure you have the exact change.
