Travel and Directions to Gay Meadow
Directions to Gay Meadow by Car
The easiest way to get to Shrewsbury is via the M54 which runs from the M6 near Wolverhampton all the way to Shrewsbury, well it turns into the A5 by Telford but is two lanes all the way. When you get to the end of the A5/M54 take the first exit at the island, at the next island take the 4th exit (signpost town center/crematorium) follow this road past Shrewsbury college and up to another island, at this island take the 3rd exit this will take you into Abbey Forgate, follow the road down until you come to the Abbey, park in the car park on the left and the ground is over the road under the railway bridge.
North - Use A49 or A53 and at island take 2nd exit A5112 into Telford Way. At next island take 2nd exit then at T junction turn right into Abbey Forgate.
South - Use the A49 and follow the signs for Shrewsbury town center then at the end of Coleham Head turn right into Abbey Forgate.
East - Use A5 then A458 into Shrewsbury and into Abbey Forgate.

Gay Meadow Parking
There is plenty of parking in the town centre which is about a 10 minute walk from the ground, most car parks in the local area are pay & display.

Gay Meadow Rail and Tube
Shrewsbury is on the Shrewsbury - Chester Line, change at either Wolverhampton or Crewe. The ground is about 10 minutes from the station.
