Travel Information to Stadium of Light
Directions by Car
Take the A19 and exit at the A1231 junction (Sunderland North). After four roundabouts keep to the left hand lane and follow signs for B1289 (Roker). Continue on this road and you will see the stadium on your right.
There is a car park outside of the stadium but you will need to get there early. There is a park and walk scheme at the University of Sunderland on the A183 (Chester Road) and St. Peters, both are clearly signposted , follow signs for matchday parking. Alternatively there is a free park and ride at the Sunderland Enterprise Park on Wessington Way (A1231) and is clearly signposted "Park & Ride"
Two metro stations AND a mainline station! There are two metro stations within close proximity of The Stadium Of Light. And a mainline station in the City Centre.
Stadium of Light Metro Station and St Peter's Metro Station
Sunderland Central Station is a 15 minute walk away.

Sunderland Train Station is approximately 10-15 minutes walk from the stadium of light. Seaburn station is also close by.
