For a football ground that was built while the team was in the lower leagues, Huish Park is quite smart looking. Each stand is about the same height, with two terraces behind the goal and a seated stand either side of the pitch straddling the half way line.
All stands are covered except the away terrace which holds about 1,800 away supports, however there is a small allocation in an under-cover stand. Positioned above the away terrace is a large-ish electronic scoreboard, but there are also smaller scoreboards positioned at the top of the stads at the side of the pitch.
At each corner of the ground there are large floodlights, which light up the pitch well for evening games. From personal experience the stewards are friendly and food is fairly priced, and of average quality. The ground has a good atmosphere with a very loud home terrace.
